𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 ... ?

Our mind holds already a continuous whirlwind of information, of ideas, and images … and we think we need to take in more information? Stop!

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

• We created a world with an information overload.

• The whirlwind of data leads to decisions fatigue, and stress.

• There must be a better way.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐦𝐚

• You receive hundreds of e-mails and messages daily; believe you need to be connected, are active on all social media and listen to many podcasts. You cannot miss anything.

• Your mental health is impacted, your productivity is [far] below what it could be, and you are dissatisfied with yourself. Burn-out is always around the corner.

• You need to find a way to solve this dilemma: [shallow] information … or … health.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞

• The image to this post is a visual representation of the world we created and live in.

• The large light bulb in the center is your central idea … is what you want to do …is what you are “here” for.

• Taking the Pause is a critical step in navigating the whirlwind.

• Disconnect from your digital devices, go for a walk, breath, and you will get in touch with your lightbulb.

• Realize you can never gather all information you think you require.

• Sharing information, knowledge, leveraging collective wisdom to make informed decisions is the way forward. More effective and much less time-consuming.

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝

• The Pause and Collaboration create new – additional - Time for you.

• Time gained you dedicate not to what you think others want you to do … but to what You want to create.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬

• Start your day with a Pause and decide what is the priority [the One Thing].

• Set boundaries for media consumption.

• Create a support-network to leverage diverse viewpoints and collective intelligence to enhance your decision-making.

• Finish your day with in-depth reflection and decision how to make tomorrow [even] better.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫

• The information overload is a given. You decide how you want to engage with it.

• Reclaim your Power, live consciously and write down your reflections and learnings.

• Choose consciously what is best for you and your Light Bulb. That is the better way.
