• Growing up many of us learned to survive, to not run into trouble, to avoid risk.

• What we experienced in the past is now holding us back, limiting our potential and results.

• We started building our lives on a foundation of mistaken beliefs.

• Our self-esteem, when often hurt, leads us to focus on what we do not want.

• This post focuses on the power of redirecting our attention to what we really want.

• Every single day we receive the gift of 100% energy.

• We decide how we allocate that energy during the day: which % we want to think negative about ourselves, how much do we want to complain about the situation we are in and how much about others?

• Which % remains to build the life we want?

• It is up to us … and not to anybody else … to decide how we allocate our energy.

• The focus on what we want is the essence of taking charge of our lives. 

• It's about steering away from a reactive mindset to a proactive one. 

• It’s about being the CEO of our own life.

• No, indeed, ... it is not about positive thinking. 

• It is about thinking right and then taking real action.
