To build a thriving organization, leaders must build environments where people feel good about where they are, valued and empowered to contribute their best.

To do this effectively, leaders must create space for dialogue—where the organization and co-workers discuss their WHYs and expectations.

True alignment can only be achieved through open conversations where purpose and strengths are understood and supported.

Co-workers will need to be able to ensure their personal WHYs are aligned with the organization’s.

Such dialogue and understanding creates the basis for connection to the organization and meaningful contributions.

Leaders must recognize that the greatest potential for organizational growth lies within the co-worker … and act accordingly.

By learning what best fits each co-worker, leaders can create the conditions that allow individuals to grow faster and better. This is how freedom and growth thrive together.

The dialogue between leadership and co-workers need to culminate in commitments to deliver the conditions and the outcomes.

Leaders should foster a culture where outcome commitments are clear, and individuals are trusted to take ownership of those outcomes, while growing and evolving within their roles.

Leaders, your role is to create the conditions for dialogue, alignment and commitment.

Through open conversations, together you can align the personal WHYs of your team members with organizational goals, leading to greater freedom, growth, and shared success.

Empower your people to focus on their strengths and foster a thriving, results-driven environment.

Outcome commitments are a two-way street. The organization commits as well as every co-worker.

The virtuous spiral of growth, satisfaction and engagement is co-created.

Note the clear link between co-workers’ freedom and organizational success.
