Following my recent post on gaining hours every day through collaboration, I hereby dive deeper into the unexpected journey of life and the power of sharing and contributing.

• Life often unfolds differently than we anticipate and have learned.
• People and organizations often display surprising and unexpected behavior.
• Attempts are often made to explain emotional behavior using reason. I did this.
• I discovered the journey is rarely straightforward, and we're frequently left to navigate it solo.

• But does it really have to be a solitary path?
• Imagine the possibilities if we openly share our experiences, lessons, and insights.
• Why spend decades learning through trial and error when we can accelerate our growth through candid conversations with those who've walked the path before us?

• We grow and evolve when we challenge ourselves, seek discomfort, step up, and do the work.
• Honor our words … do what we say we will. This is foundational to building true relationships. I can already say here that I believed – at times – too much.
• We need to create cultures based on Truth and Trust.

• This year, I'm committing to a different kind of dialogue here on LinkedIn. I'll share my personal reflections, the dots I’ve connected, the ones I've missed, and my ongoing questions and challenges.
• I will also share the lessons I learned from my many experiences … the good and not so good.
• I am open about my perspectives, the obstacles I see we face, and innovative ways to view and navigate our professional and personal lives.
• I aim to contribute to people becoming better leaders of themselves first, so they have a [n even] better foundation to lead others.

• I encourage you to join this journey. Reach out, ask questions, admit uncertainties, and seek the support you need.
• Remember, you're the CEO of your own life. It's time to take the reins, make informed and conscious decisions, and steer your life towards the fulfillment and success you desire.
• You will grow and – through and with you – others will as well.

• Let's break the norm of solitary struggle. Share your experiences, ask for guidance, and grow together.
• Progress and achievement are more effectively attained when created and shared with others … so let’s make that happen.
• How about starting to share your thoughts about both posts and – possibly - about the unexpected turns of your life?
• As we each share and learn, we all grow. The readers will be grateful.
